Featured RollerGirl, October 2007: Sweet Justice is a rookie for the 07-08 season, but she's already proven herself to be track-worthy and a force to be reckoned with. Justice played in the opening bout of the season, but you probably didn't even notice she was a rookie; this girl looks like she's been around for ages already. Watch out for this girl ... she's out for justice, but it might just be of the vengeful kind.

More dirt about yourself: Sweets grew up in a family of rebel freedom-fighters in an undisclosed location. She actually led a very normal childhood. She enjoyed nothing more then roller skating, playing with puppies, and eating candy. She actually loved her skates so much that she never took them off. The problem was that in this undisclosed location skating, along with a lot of other things, was against the law. The man decided to bring Sweet's family down. One day while her family was roller skating at their favorite spot, masked men in a black SUV drove up and took them to jail. Her family was interrogated and tortured. It was pure injustice! Her parents and older brother couldn't handle it and died. Sweets just grew stronger and refused to break down.

For years she rotted in that jail cell with nothing but the thoughts of vengeance to keep her alive. She had to get out and quick! With her sweet demeanor she some how convinced her captors to give her cans of food instead of the usual gruel. Using her eating utensils, some old cans, and some duct tape pulled from the ventilation system, Sweets made herself some wheels. From a sock she had stashed beneath her pillow she retrieved a bobby pin, some Alka-seltzer tablets, and a stick of chewing gum… perfect.

BOOM! The lock of her cell exploded and she was off. Sweets skated away with a smile on her face. She vows to never stop skating and at the same time take it to the man. But the man would be looking for her too. Taking down her captors wouldn't be easy, and it would take time. She needed a cover, so she fled to the states. That's when she found the derby. It was the perfect cover, and a good time to boot. She could hone her fighting skills, plot her revenge, and perhaps find some help in her fight against the man amongst the ladies of derby. She may still look like that sweet candy loving girl that once existed but she is long forgotten now. All that remains is Sweet Justice.
