Featured RollerGirl, April 2008: There's a reason why this girl got the March 22 Pizza Luce Player of the Game: she earned it with hard work, perseverance, and panache. Sparkle joined the Dolls for the 06-07 season and she was a strong rookie right off the bat and had the fire from the first practice. She shows up for practice, works hard while she's there, and constantly works to better her play. And anyone who saw her skate last year and this year knows just how far this girl has come. She's become one of the league's best jammers, able to escape nearly any trap the blockers set up for her. But don't sell her short because this small package can lay down a serious blocking punch. The Dolls are so happy to have Sparkle for all she brings both on and off the track.
