Featured RollerGirl, January 2007: It's actually difficult to sum up all that Candi Pain means to the Dagger Dolls. She's been the captain of the Dolls since the very beginning; she's the toughest, sweetest, best girl you could ever hope to meet; and she keeps the team on track and fighting hard while keeping things in amazing perspective. As a captain, she's led the team to many victories while always stressing the importance of having fun, which is one of the many reasons her Dolls love her. Whether winning or losing, you can tell that the Dolls are always having a good time and that's largely thanks to Candi's attitude and leadership.

Candi Pain was also a dedicated member of this year's interleague team. She played in nearly all of the games this season and proved to be one of the league's best blockers. She's tenacious and never gives up on her target. When you see Candi skate, you see in one brief moment just what the game is all about: grace, toughness, athleticism, fun, soul, and dedication. Candi is all of these things and so much more to her team and to the league.
