HOME SEASON CHARITY: Family and Children's Service

Sideline Reporter position open with the Minnesota RollerGirls

Are you a frequent attendee of Minnesota RollerGirls bouts? Do you spend the games with your eyes glued to the action trying to unravel strategy and pick out the key moments that turn a team's loss into a win? Can you transfer thoughts into the written word in a concise, organized, and clever manner? If so, then we need YOU!

The Minnesota RollerGirls are in need of a dedicated writer to serve as the Sideline Reporter for the home bouts in 2008. In exchange for a short report (approx. 500 words) on the remarkable plays, notable players, and general action of each bout, the Sideline Reporter will receive an All-Access pass to each bout (this means free admission and the ability to move around the floor and balcony). If you have a penchant for sports writing and a desire to be a part of the growing sport of flat-track derby, email a short description of why you're qualified and what makes you most excited about our sport to [email protected] by February 12, 2008.
